Festivals in Yorkshire 2026

Looking for festivals in Yorkshire? We track 34 happening across the region in 2026, from Northern Green Gathering, Cedarwood Festival, Mint Festival to hidden local gems. Filter by genre, month, size and camping to find one near you.

Yorkshire earns its reputation as festival country. Fezzy tracks 30 festivals across the region in 2026, opening with the JORVIK Viking Festival in February and closing with Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival in November, with the season peaking from May to September. Tramlines in South Yorkshire is the giant of the calendar at around 40,000 capacity, while Deer Shed at Topcliffe holds down the family end with arts and science alongside the bands. Folk runs deep here: Beverley Folk Festival, Holmfirth Festival of Folk and a full week of it at Whitby Folk Week. The region also hosts five steam and vintage rallies from Pickering to Masham, house music in Scarborough, punk at Slam Dunk North and international horse trials at Bramham. Whatever your weekend looks like, Yorkshire probably runs a festival for it.
